Germany’s best-selling calendar publisher, the PAL Verlag, got a completely new mobile first website. Our challenge was a structure of manually maintained HTML pages that had grown over the past 20 years. The first step was therefore an extensive legacy data conversion to ensure content and assets and to make them easy for the publisher to maintain via the PIM.RED. With several thousand pages and many hundreds of videos spread over four websites, the content was carefully reorganized, prepared and compiled under SEO aspects. The websites palverlag.de, psychotipps.com, partnerschaft-beziehung.de und angst-panik-hilfe.de are now maintained and centrally and give the end customer (as the publisher’s name suggests) practical life support. On the basis created in this way, further e-commerce business models will be implemented in the next steps. An interview with the publisher can be found in the stock market newspaper.
